Gary Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs for an alleged possession of ‘a virtual pharmacy’s worth’ of prescription medication and a number of illegal drugs.
Dourdan, 41, was asleep inside his vehicle which was parked on the wrong side of the road and with the interior light on.
The arresting officer described the actor as ‘disoriented’ and appeared to be under the influence of a banned substance and alcohol.

Rapper Foxy Brown has been released from prison after serving 8 months of her 12-month sentence. Two and a half of those months were spent in solitary confinement. Brown was jailed after hitting a woman with a mobile phone.
The incident occurred while Brown was on probation for abusing two nail stylists in 2004. The judge who sentenced her last year stated she had not taken her probation seriously. Brown spent time in solitary confinement after fighting with a prisoner.

Germany: 45-year-old travel agent Andreas Stumpel has been sentenced to eight months in jail and ordered to pay £2,630 in compensation after pleading guilty to abusing a minor.
Stumpel had been forcing teenage girls to remove an item of clothing every time they answered incorrectly during job interviews. One 17-year-old who was afraid of not getting the position ended up naked except for a G-string.

Michael Burgess of Custer County, Oklahoma stands accused of running a sex ring from inside his county jail. Burgess even ran wet t-shirt contests in the jail. If convicted of all counts, he stands to receive 467 years in jail.
The charges include 14 counts of rape in the 2nd degree, rape by instrumentation, bribery of a public official, indecent exposure, forcible oral sodomy, rape, and kidnapping.
The former sheriff is also involved in another lawsuit alleging other inappropriate actions. Burgess had been sheriff of Custer County since 1994.

Shaun Earl Arender, 19, has been charged with the sexual assault and capital murder of Hanna Mack, 6, of Corsicana, TX.
Arender was in jail on unrelated burglary and drug possession charges when his DNA matched that taken from the shirt worn by the child. When questioned, Arender would not answer “but put his head on the table and cried.” His bond is $2.5 Million.
While in custody on the burglary charges and two days before being charged with murder, Arender cut himself with a piece of glass “because he was depressed.” Read more »
