Gary Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs for an alleged possession of ‘a virtual pharmacy’s worth’ of prescription medication and a number of illegal drugs.

Dourdan, 41, was asleep inside his vehicle which was parked on the wrong side of the road and with the interior light on.

The arresting officer described the actor as ‘disoriented’ and appeared to be under the influence of a banned substance and alcohol.

The University of East Anglia is about to begin a study on the effect of chocolate in reducing heart disease in women with type 2 diabetes. 150 women will be needed to eat chocolate daily for a whole year.

Now don’t go out a start buying up chocolate bars just yet because the chocolate off the shelf has all the goodness processed out of it. A Belgian chocolatier has developed a flavanoid rich chocolate for the study and 27 grams will be eaten daily.

Women that have been through menopause will be selected to eat the chocolate daily and still carry on with their cholesterol lowering medication. The chocolate will have added soy compounds as well. .

CNN anchor Richard Quest has been arrested at 3:40 Friday morning in Central Park, NYC. He was initially arrested for being in the park past its 1am curfew, but police then found a plastic bag containing a controlled substance.

Quest, who is well-known on CNN International, is to attend six months of counseling. If he agrees to the counseling, the case would be dismissed. Quest has his own feature programme on CNN International, as well as being a major business reporter.

16-year-old Columbus resident Angel Dailey has been charged with child endangerment and corrupting another with drugs after a video recorder brought to a pawn shop had a tape left inside that showed her forcing a toddler to take marijuana.

The relationship between Dailey and the toddler, who will be 2 this month, is not known. She was also seen in the video with an 18-year-old man helping her; he has since been arrested and handed over to DEA agents.

They believe he may have a connection to a case involving Dailey’s father, Donald. A raid on his home last month found $3.2 million in his home’s walls and 2,100 pounds of marijuana that was found in a trailer outside.

Pawned Video Recorder Shows Woman Forcing Marijuana Onto Toddler

A Victoria Beach, Manitoba man found an unexpected surprise bolted to his truck’s bumper - $20,000 worth of marijuana. Larry Ateah purchased the truck at an auction in July, but it wasn’t until this week that he discovered the cache.

RCMP have confirmed that the vehicle was seized after a drug investigation in 2003. During that investigation, about 80 kg of marijuana was recovered from the vehicle. It is routine for seized vehicles to be auctioned off. Read more »
